You’re probably here becasue you were looking to save on food costs through food ministries similar to the Angel Food Ministries (AFM). Sadly, Angel Food Ministries is closed nationwide and many years back. Many regional, food-buying programs similar to what AFM was doing do exist. I’ve posted links to some below and update on rare occasions.
These companies are generally considered to be bulk food buying programs, of which there are three common types: Food Box Programs, Food Cooperatives, and Bulk Buying Clubs. They all have the same basic purpose: to get nutritious food to people at a lower than retail cost. You might also consider searching “mobile food pantries” in your zipcode.
