What does it mean to SHOW UP? When I first unpacked this life lesson in Listen Up, Kids, it was about being physically present. In a sense, it was along the lines of show up to school every day and you will at least get a good score in attendance/participation.
As I have explored the advice more, I think there are many ways we should seek to show up. So, with this 7 posts edition, I have broken down the ways we can show up into a few different sub-categories.
There are certainly other ways we might show up, so feel free to share in the comments also feel free to link to your own posts on the topic.

[callout]God may not call you to leave the United States (though he might!). But if you’re a believer, he is calling you to follow him where he goes, as he seeks to make his name known.[/callout]
Show Up in God’s World – Intentionally
Doing Good Work that Matters Doesn’t Happen Accidentally (Matt Perman):
[callout]We have to be intentional in making plans for the welfare of others. And then we have to be proactive in carrying those plans out.[/callout]
How to be Unpopular in the Secular World (Steve Patterson):

Why Showing Up Is Important (Mike Mobley @ Before the Cross):
[callout]Christians can’t be light in a dark world without showing up.[/callout]
Show Up Mentally and Emotionally

[callout]…would lose myself in my work, in my thoughts, or withdraw to a safe place in my mind that unfortunately excluded everyone else by virtue of my silence. What I eventually learned is that withdrawal into the self is actually futile.[/callout]
Lose the Illusion of Someday (Pete Wilson):
[callout]Many of you have chosen to live a frog-saturated life. You’ve learned you can put off some of the most important things in life. You’ve learned to hide behind the fear of “what if” and illusion of “someday.”[/callout]
How to Avoid Burnout – When You Spend Your Time Serving Others (Lexi Koch):
[callout]…we juggle the demands of our families, businesses and clients and want to show up as loving, present and helpful as we can to all of those roles. But really, how can we be the best help to others if we aren’t helping ourselves?[/callout]
