As we approach Christmas and the 2021 year-end, I’m reflecting upon what was and what may be. Actually, I’ve spent the last 20-ish months thinking about who and what I want to be when I grow up. A mid-life crisis sparked by covid, perhaps. I don’t know. But definitely a season of evaluation, strife, learning, growth, and perspective.
During this season, I’ve toyed with buying commercial real estate, experimented with hydroponics, establishing a food rescue, did some wellness coaching, and a whole lot more. There have been struggles, internal conflicts, and a lot of devotion time with God as I seek the path He’s set me on.
The New Path is the Same Path
What I’m realizing is what I already knew; that I am a writer and producer for God and His glory.
The new avenues were not in vain. Rather, they’ve provided new connections, experiences, and an understanding I knew not before the season began. So I thank God for the struggle and for guiding me through it.
Pivotal New Season
You may have noticed that the 1Glories website has been overhauled. It’s not quite yet complete, but very different. And, as I did this, I consolidated my other domains (chadgramling.com, FoodThrifting.com, BaseballinFortWayne.com, etc.) into one platform to allow for easier management and better synergy. The overall goal is to achieve a scaling up of 1Glories as a platform and ministry.
In 2022, there will be at least two new books published under the 1Glories imprint. One will be a FoodThrifting cookbook, while the other will be a reflection on the nature of shame and handling of it from a perspective of Christian living. I’m really looking forward to sharing both with you.
Rounding Out 2021 with Hits & Misses
To conclude the rest of 2021, I will be repurposing some existing 1Glories content. Though I have not produced a lot of fresh content in a while, many previous posts have been read hundreds and thousands of times over the course of the year. I’ll be sharing the most read posts over the next few days. I’m also going to sprinkle in a few that have been read only one or two times in the last year with a little commentary on why they might deserve your attention.
That’s it, friends. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and an amazing ushering in of 2022!
Be blessed & Be Well
