What do you mean by “refining life, on purpose” – I get that question from time to time. And I understand why. It’s a bit ambiguous. At core level, it’s about personal development. In a deeper sense, it’s about the personal development of character and the progression of who we are to who we are meant to be.

It’s a discipline (don’t worry – “discipline” does not always have to equal “bad”) that is sorely missing from many of the homes, schools and even some churches in our modern world.

It’s not the original reason why I felt led to start 1Glories. In fact, I struggled with the decision to make that pivot before I did. But now that I have, I cannot tell you how significant it has been to my own personal journey toward becoming the person – the man, husband, father and friend – I want to be portrayed when my eulogy is written.

Like it or not, God is always at work on us and we are continually working on the legacies we leave. I got scared that I wasn’t living up to the challenge! So I made the transition. And I am excited to share it with you.
